App updates and crashes
Q: My app is crashing. What should I do?
Please check that you're using the latest version of the iPad app Older versions no longer work because we’ve disabled the old data sync solution
Q: How do I check which version I’m using?
Open the app and tap the settings icon You’ll see the version number in the popup
Q: How do I update the app?
You can update the app through the self-service app
If it says “Reinstall” instead of “Update” that means you're already on the latest version
Q: I haven’t used this iPad in a while and now the app won’t work Why?
iPads that have been sitting unused may still have an outdated version of the app These need to be updated before they will function again
Q: I’ve updated but the app still isn’t working What now?
Double-check that the update was successful and that you’re on the latest version If it’s still not working reach out to support with the details
Plant Metrics
Q: Are poorly set fruits included in the plant load?
No poorly set fruits are not included in the plant load calculation Fin should make this clear.
Q: Are fruits with blossom end rot or other quality issues included in the plant load?
No fruits affected by blossom end rot or other quality issues are not included in the plant load These issues do not impact the plant load calculation.
Plant Representivity
Q: For Pepper cultivations only: I am changing all my measurement stems. I might do this because these stems are no longer representative of the whole cultivation. How do I approach this?
To bridge over the gap from the original stems to the new stems, you must measure both sets of stems for 1 week before moving to only the new set of stems. This is because the metric "Newly set fruits" requires a baseline measurement and then can only be calculated after the second week. If you do not measure both stems for one week, you will be lift with no value for newly set fruits for 1 week.
