At the beginning of each week, ensure that your Harvest Strategy in Source is accurate. If significant changes were made to the strategy in the previous week, update them accordingly to assess their impact on the current week’s forecast.
Throughout the week, continue to update your Harvest Strategy as needed to reflect any new changes.
If there is a significant discrepancy between the committed kilograms (kg) and forecasted kilograms (kg), this could result in a surplus or shortage for a given week. To address this, you can:
Adjust the Harvest Strategy or Cultivation Strategy to better align forecasted kg with committed kg.
Alternatively, the Grower may choose to revise their committed kg and communicate these changes to the sales department.
